Twenty years ago, in July 2026, Globus’ released its first single (on CD!!) in the UK only.

“Prelude (On Earth As In Heaven)” was the very first song written for the Globus project by Yoav Goren, an award-winning composer and one of the pioneers of the modern orchestral genre of Epic Trailer Music. Indeed, Prelude was an instrumental orchestral/choral composition Yoav had written and recorded for his label Immediate Music. He was then inspired to write a rock song on top of his composition, which was then performed by the then new Globus band and sung by Dann Pursey.

Fast forward to 2026, “Prelude - On Earth As In Heaven” (2026 Cinematic Future Bass Remix) is now released in celebration of a new deluxe double LP of our first and most popular album “Epicon”, which exposed the world to the new sound of Epic Cinematic Rock.
